Walking with Jesus in the Desert
Lent Calendar
Jesus invites us to do penance and to join him into the desert. When we let go our our passions and worldly desires we quiet our hearts and so we can finally hear him speaking directly to us, and prepare ourselves to receive him fully during Holy Week.
Ash Wednesday
March 5
The Lenten Season commences as we remember and make present Jesus walking through the Desert. We are reminded that from ashes we came and to ashes we will return.
